We're all waiting to be found...

'The first book I read in 2017 - and if another as good comes along in the next 12 months, I'll eat my special gold reviewing spectacles' DAILY MAIL

Meet the 'Keeper of Lost Things'...
Once a celebrated author of short stories now in his twilight years, Anthony Peardew has spent half his life collecting lost objects, trying to atone for a promise broken many years before.

Realising he is running out of time, he leaves his house and all its lost treasures to his assistant Laura, the one person he can trust to fulfil his legacy and reunite the thousands of objects with their rightful owners.

But the final wishes of the 'Keeper of Lost Things' have unforeseen repercussions which trigger a most serendipitous series of encounters...

Coming in May 2018: Ruth Hogan's second novel A Beginner's Guide to Drowning

A delicately beautiful story. Unique and very special.

If ever a book imploded it is this one. The first part is delightful but it disintegrates and becomes non-sensical towards the end. The coming of the ghost marks its tipping point and the storyline crumbles from then on. It was not improved by the use of unnecessary, offensive and blasphemous expletives.
  • You should probably read this one first

Just buy the book, even the best reviews don’t do it justice.
  • Couldn’t put it down

Loved the way the author introduced the characters separately then brought them altogether at the end. Really enjoyed this book.

I don't often write reviews but felt I should as this is the best book I've read in a long time. What a debut! Keep them coming.

This lovely book is brilliantly written. I plough through books and forget them easily but I won't this one.

A lovely book with an uplifting storyline. Kept me turning the pages and sadly I got to the end too soon and would have loved the story to have gone on and on. Literary bliss
