Description

The heart-warming and romantic SUNDAY TIMES bestseller: perfect for autumn

One little mistake and nothing will ever be the same again!

On the one hand, if Essie hadn't written that letter - the one that only her best friend was meant to see - then she'd still be living like an actual proper grown-up, tucked up with Paul in his picture-perfect cottage, maybe even planning their wedding...

On the other hand (if her true feelings hadn't accidentally taken the internet by storm, that is) she wouldn't have moved into the attic flat on the square. She would never have met Conor. Or got to know Lucas...

And she wouldn't have found herself falling in love with someone she really, really shouldn't fall in love with...

Got the audiobook but struggled to pay attention (my problem not Jill’s! Got the book and thoroughly enjoyed it. Interesting characters and a good mix of fun, love and everything else for good measure. Love all her previous titles too - keep up the good work.

Jill Mansell does it again. If you are looking for a nice, enjoyable, comforting read that you know you will get a happy ending in then you can rely on any of her books. This one is no exception, well developed characters, interesting storylines and laugh out loud moments. Really highly recommend.

This was the first book I’ve read of this author and I wasn’t a fan. It was ok, but I lacked motivation to keep reading it. Glad I got it when it was on offer as I’d be quite upset if I’d paid the full price of £8.99 for it.
