eBooks are a way of sharing traditional text found in books along with enhanced information through the use of multi media. As they are digital in format they allow for the addition of video, audio, drawing, photography, text and links to web based content.
Using tools such as iBooks Author you can add even more through the use of widgets. Widgets allow you to create custom content to your eBooks such as quizzes or drawing pads. iBooks Author is a Mac based programme and a great tool for taking book making further.
