The Great Gatsby was a thrilling read, from the start to the end. I started reading this book early in January 2019 and tried to read 2 pages every day. Today, on Friday 12th April 2019, I finished the entire book! Content itself was great but the book is full of spelling and grammatical errors.

The great in the title does the book credit. At the start you are with ease and care introduced to the main characters, and even more amazingly introduced to the dramatic plot. The character design was superb, and the book reflected the time era opulently with its trilling language. The description in its own warrants the book 5 stars. I would happily account this as my favourite book, and my most cherished. Moreover I would highly recommend to any reader. The novella lay out gave the ply perfect space to work and not drag on, and with only 50,000 words made a thrilling story. My only critique is that it skips to one place to another too fast and confused me multiple times, though I am a fast reader and this may only be my fault entirely, but I would like to see the story set themes more slowly and with ease. Other than that, the book is a diamond model to other novels and novellas!

One of my favourite stories and what was even better was that it was for free on the Apple Store. Absolutely fell in love with the book and couldn't put it down. Complete classic of a book.

Wow! I hadn't even heard of this "American classic" until I seen an episode of family guy depicting it. I'm embarrassed by that fact so swiftly read it and I love it... oh yeah it's a film as well starring Leonardo DiCaprio who knew?? Not me shall have to check that out as well.. seems I've been living under a rock for the last 23 years..

A wonderful novella - Fitzgerard pulls you into the book with his vivid descriptions - you feel like you are submerged into a dream like state in the 1920’s along side Nick throughout the book. A simply perfect read and love the mix of the present and past tense.
